4.2/5 based on 65+ reviews on the web
Walk along the tree-lined paths of Toome Hill (Toomemagi), a park recognized for its monuments and sculptures. Formerly a meadow where cattle grazed, nowadays the location has transformed into a popular meeting spot and an ornamental park within a modern city. Take in the views of this oasis-like setting and observe the ruins of a red-brick cathedral from the 13th century. You can also spot old bridges at the site, which serve as connectors between hills. Climbing to the highest points rewards you with panoramic views of the city. A visit to Toome Hill (Toomemagi) represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Tartu trip generator to plot your vacation.
