  • Suddenly, this view was impressed by the remarkable wooden church. Met her on the road, heading from the port area to the side of the quarter Behind. Old church (was built in the 18th century the remnants of wooden ships), Orthodox, has relations to the sailors of the Russian fleet. The building is very well kept, not looking at the venerable age of. Personally to me here is such works of wooden architecture, which survived until our days in his amazing form, are impressive. Recommend. In Russia these are wooden buildings largely destroyed ruthlessly and replaced with novodelom or stay in a drunk condition.

  • The oldest wooden Orthodox Church stands on the road from the center of the port, among the modern buildings. Built for sailors after the great northern war. The port come large ships and it is no wonder that the coastline has been strengthened for the construction of roads and buildings, and the Church was farther from shore. Near a large shopping center Nautica, hotels. Opposite the church paid parking, which I advise you to leave your car friends and tourists to the city.
