  • There are many cafes, restaurants and hotels - tourism instructs - but despite all you will like to walk by it.

  • It's nothing special in that location, but a good restaurant in the street. Rataskaevu At the top of the House with one window covered with the reportedly haunted.

  • I started aiming at the temple on the Hill. If swollen on the cobblestone streets, if fairly walkable, but if it rains hard. But without paved more difficult might be, if the middle ages.

  • Incredibly good food, reasonable price and probably the best table service I ever got anywhere in the world. Rataskaevu 16 is an absolute gem of a restaurant. We read the other reviews on Google and there seemed to be general consensus that one can easily recommend it. For a restaurant that central (we are talking the middle of Old Town here!) and that looks so good, the biggest surprise came from the price: the most expensive dish on the menu was €17.90 for their signature dish, braised elk, which was tender and absolutely delicious. Top choice. We tried the herring fillets, the cheeseboard, the baked goats cheese and the salmon and all were cooked to perfection too. And the bread! Freshly baked daily in the premises. An absolute treat. But while great food is something that you can find relatively easily, it was the service that was most impressive. Our waiter was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and on point with his suggestions. He even told us a bit of the history of the restaurant. We were not rushed at any point, despite the place being busy, and we had a pleasant conversation with him after dinner about Tallinn's foodie scene in recent years. For what I could see, other waiters and waitresses offered similar levels of attention to their guests. If you're in Tallinn, you have to try this place!
  • I stopped here while my travel buddy wasn't feeling well. I was bummed to eat alone but this place made me feel right at home when I entered. The girl who showed me to my table and waited on me was wonderfully pleasant, caring and knowledgeable. The food and drink were delicious and exactly what was needed after a long day of travel and sight seeing. I will be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a place that makes you feel welcome while providing a meal you won't forget.
  • Great place with servers who have great personality bringing wonderful food. The bread is unmatched. The herring salad an interesting twist on a Caesar. Mushroom soup in a clear broth a pleasant surprise. Our first taste of elk roast was enhanced by a rich sauce. We closed with the bread pudding accented with raspberry sherbet.
  • Incredibly special place, the food is super delicious and with a healthy twist, including their vegetarian dishes. The service and the attention we received were unsurpassed! They now have two restaurants with same amazing menu. My only suggestion is to book in advance! Many thanks to management for such thought through hospitality!!!👌🏼
  • Amazing food and even better service! This place is an absolute Estonian gem and I would most definitely go back. We ate some started to share for a light meal and finished it off with a gorgeous chocolate fondant cake. All of it was perfect!
