Specialty Museum Museum
Visit Photographic Museum at Raekoja, a former prison that now features collections of photographs and antique cameras, as well as presentations on the history of Estonian photography. The museum hosts temporary exhibits in which you can constantly see new items from the inventory of 65,000 pieces. Learn about the development of photography from the 1840s through 1940s and find out what a darkroom looked like at the beginning of the 20th century. Look for the smallest vintage camera from Estonia--a pocket-sized Minox from 1936--and observe a large selection of photography equipment and objects. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Photographic Museum at Raekoja and many more Tallinn attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Tallinn travel itinerary planner.
