The Church, named after the Swedish of Charles XI, is located near place de la Liberté in place of the former wooden. The predecessor was burned with the rest of the suburb during the siege of Tallinn during the great northern war in 1710 a year. As they recover not steel, and built a new, brick. Built in the 19th century neo-Gothic-style already. In doing so, saved the tradition: the Church was built in the form of a Latin cross, and 2 towers flank the rose window. All this in one form or another in every respecting himself European city. From the old church remained the only Swedish Bell. To paraphrase the poet: "the bells do not burn". In the church there is an organ that we listen to the failed-the Church was closed. And body-the largest in Estonia. Not in or adjacent to the dome on toompea Hill of St Oleviste and here.

Aside from the nahozhennyh hiking trails worth Twin-Tower Church, named after the Charles XI. History of this temple begins in the distant year of 1630, when were built the first wooden church building. Chimes correctly measure time, and inside sounds wonderful organ music.

Friendly Church located outside of the "normal" tourist circuits of the city. Visited by being at the end of the circuit outlined and that ended up in this part of town.
