  • Tallinn is a small town and we walked up to the Energy Discovery Centre at the 'top' of the town with our 5 year old. Plenty to see and do there. A great static electricity demo every 2 hours, a space...  more »
  • The premises of the old power plant built in the Science Centre is located close to the Harbour and it is suitable for very brief periods of Tallinn's courtesy visit to the program. The place was surprisingly few other visitors, even though in terms of attractiveness and presentation topics, there is no reason to. Some of the featured events are familiar e.g. Heurekasta. A special feature was the top-floor electric demos, which was presented to the eg. high-voltage with the salami. Our troupe was 5-10 years old. Quite a few of the demos were such that their understanding and use of the equipment needed for an adult's help. Interesting to see and kokeiltavaa was enough to quite nicely for both children and adults. The exhibition items presentations were also available in Finnish.

  • Great for children, okay for adults. Full price of entry for adults is €9. Would have liked more immersive exhibitions. Definitely visit one of the static electricity displays (lightning in a cage), every day at 12, 14 and 16 o'clock.
  • Great place to visit with children starting from 5 years of age. Entertaining and educational.
  • Good place to visit with kids that like to explore things.
  • Worth visiting
  • An interesting place, but should be updated to damaged items.
