Iglesia Santa Lucia, Suchitoto

#3 of 11 in Things to do in Suchitoto
Religious Site Tourist Spot
Constructed in 1853, Iglesia Santa Lucia sits at the top of the city's attractions list, a result of its original colonial era structure. The exterior features a tall facade adorned with arches, two bell towers on each side, an empty tower in the middle, and a pediment featuring a very old clock. Head inside to be greeted with a rich display of wood. Wooden pews and solid wooden arches sitting on stone platforms, which support the dome shaped nave, complement the predominantly light colored interior of the church. Put Iglesia Santa Lucia into our Suchitoto tour planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.
