  • Located in Avda.Manuel Enrique Araujo, a few blocks from the International Centre for trade fairs and conventions (CIFCO), this little gem hides a myriad of colorful crafts, local and regional products at very good price and excellent quality. Checkpoints are located one next to the other and they can travel with comfort through its shaded corridors. The atmosphere is quaint, safe and secure. There are some benches where you can sit and rest pause, drinking some drink and then continue walking. I consider it a must for tourists who appreciate the indigenous, artisanal workmanship and parts manufactured with love and dedication. Behind each object or painting - many in parts unique and unrepeatable - there is a story, an artist, or a person who has gone through their art from generation to generation. For foreign tourists who wish to wear delicate souvenirs (which could shatter within your baggage) vendors are expert wrapping their crafts with great care in packaging resistant and protected. The craft market has a large parking lot and a small restaurant that offers food and typical products at affordable price. Totally recommended for adults and teens. Not very suitable for small or restless children who need space to run.

  • Great little market! Very clean & friendly vendors. Love that a lot of the vendors will personalize your items. Definitely we'll go back next time in El Salvador.
  • If you are a tourist and looking to pick up some local crafts this is a good place to go. Some of the stores have the stuff you see all over the world probably made in china, but many of them do have some unique local goods. They also have a decent restaurant you can get lunch at.
  • I loved this market. It's somewhat small, but it's safe and it has the best selection of artisan handicrafts. I purchased an indigo table cloth and a hand embroidered runner. Some of the souvenirs are cheap, but there are true gems here. I had my taxi cab wait for me. Here is a tip, bring cash, there isn't an ATM in the market. Many of the stalls do not accept Visa.
  • This market is so good, here are a diversity of stuffs , typical enviroment We can enjoy every single store , if you come you can found hamacs, blankets, some typical clothe, everything than you need!!! and the most important GOOD PRICES!!!
  • In the souvenir market near the highway between San Salvador and El Salvador have Comalapa international airport, lined with many shops. Body language can 10 minutes a haggle is silly but Spain, the clerk should have paper and a pen.
