  • Area of 60 acres, of which 4.5 blocks are intended for public use; distributed in 32 areas with diverse plant collections, labeled by: type of plant, common name, scientific name, family and distribution; among them: ferns, plants of the desert, medicinal plants, home garden, orchids, bromeliads and forested areas of native vegetation. It also has a library, playground and cafeteria service, surrounded by a peaceful pond with fish and aquatic plants, and a demonstration area for the production of compost.

  • In a city like San Salvador, with so few green areas, the Botanical Garden is a gift. The place is very well maintained and the cost to enter is accessible. Despite being in the heart of the city, it is a cool and away from the noise space.

  • Nice place to walk around and pass good time in family, just considered the entrance have a Cost around $1, you need cash to buy food inside too. Very Nice place. You have the chance to feed the Fishes and if you are looking you will see some exotic animals (No dangerous) in his natural environment.
  • Amazing place for take the kids or leave the traffic behind! Very clean and well maintained, they sale fish food for the tank, it will be helpful if you wanna take good pictures of the fishes, you can see “cutusas” around, many flowers and even veggies and fruits, turtles, they sale plants a very accessible price ( I saw some at $0.50) they close at 5:30 sharply, park around the garden for free.
  • Amazing place to go with the family. Beautiful garden a lot of different trees and animals to see, not so hot to walk around. You can park anywhere, entrance is only $1.00 it couldn’t be better. They have an small cafeteria and a juice bar also they sell plants. Great place for the kids to run free
  • Beautiful place to enjoy ab afternoon and cool off after a warm day with plenty of shade and natural beauty.
  • Very nice garden, ancient trees, lots of beatiful rare birds, plenty of green. It is an amazing place. Wheelchair accessible all around. Bathrooms clean wheelchairs. Food and snack inside.
