  • The Botanical Garden of La Laguna, is considered a park or reserve nationally and at the same time a botanical garden, which has approximately 46 acres, of which 4.5 blocks accessed the public, located at the bottom of a volcanic crater, in the municipality of Antiguo Cuscatlán, La Libertad, El Salvador Department. The entire area is divided into collections of various plants, depending on their type, including ferns, orchids, bromeliads, forested areas of native vegetation, etc. There is a fee to enter. It is important to note that this park has only basic facilities for visitors (health services, cafeteria and parking although very limited, for example).

  • We always go with kids - there is a great climbing area for kids, turtles and fish to feed and tons of cool plants to look at. There is a little snack shop also. You can easily spend a few hours here ...  more »
  • It is the plan of the ancient lagoon Cuscatlán about 5 min from the city, is something fantastic that one gets lost in the charm of nature and different spices to be downloaded, input it seems to me that it costs $1.50, has a cafe where you can buy snacks, only the area where one can enter to the reserve is small so that runs quickly.

  • Ideal to move away from the hustle and bustle, stress and above all in the heat of the city passing a fresh day admiring the great variety of plants in the middle of nature. Before leaving to go to another country, we should get to know our botanical garden. I recommend it and my nephews, love.
