  • The chapel of the hospital de La Divina Providencia in colonia Miramonte of San Salvador is a site of great historical value, not only for Salvadorans, but also for many people in the world (believers or not) this site was martyred blessed Óscar Arnulfo Romero and Galdamez, a Monday, March 24, 1980 at approximately 6:30 pm , while officiating a mass and moments before the sacred rite. Archbishop Romero was killed shot in the heart made by a sniper from a car parked outside the chapel. Was 62 years.
