  • For us is was the absolutely best park in El Salvador. So much to see and always never ending. A must see in the city.  more »
  • The bicentennial Park, is a natural reserve located between the capital of El Salvador (San Salvador) and the city of Antiguo Cuscatlán. This is a place where mainly the people walk, run or enjoy to travel by bicycle. There is a trail of concrete but also there are rural. This place has the advantage of allowing the contact with nature in an urban area. It is accessed through the Jerusalem Avenue, has parking (charge $2.00 per vehicle sedan on Saturday and Sunday, $1.00 the rest of the week). There are benches where to rest, (a both rustic) areas for picnic, basic games for children, some poor sales of fruits and drinks, health services of the portable type, lighting (although a night view is not recommended). There is no potable (drinkable) water dispensers so it is best to bring their own.

  • It is a park used especially for those who do walk or trot. Does not offer facilities for something else. Seniors who come to walk, should be careful because there are pending. There an other banking for rest and a small area to sit in the grass and hang out. The attraction of this park is that it appears to provide fresh air and less polluted, hence the preference to go to walk or to bring pets to the same.
