Meet 31 endangered species of animal at Furesa Fundacion Refugio Salvaje, a sanctuary dedicated to the care of Bengal tigers, lions, hippos, and many more specires. On Tuesdays the facility opens its doors to the public to view these majestic and rarified creatures. Note that the signage is only in Spanish, but this shouldn't detract from the experience. You can camp onsite, allowing you to drift off to sleep to the sounds of the nature around your. Bring your bug spray, and be sure to check out the onsite restaurant.
