Built to provide power for the nearby town, and utilizing the volcanic aspects of the area, the falls are set in dense forest. After your walk, cool off and bathe beneath the shower of water. The uneven terrain demands strong and sturdy footwear. Note that robbery has been reported here; bring a reliable local guide as the area is not attended by officials. • Our impression of the visit on Saturday to the safe natural treasure that would have been different (worse) if we had arrived later and not about ten in the morning. We were almost alone then, but at the beginning of our return the place already was full of visitors. From the square of Juayua is takes a half hour in get to foot to them waterfalls, by a road of land with good indications (costs down to the ida and costs up to it turned) that not us seemed dangerous. You can also access fast in mototaxi from town for a price of $ 3 each way. The site was guarded by three police officers. The two sets of beautiful waterfalls (of free entry) form their respective pools of quiet, cold and crystal clear water. They are joined by a tunnel that can go swimming (advisable to have a flashlight).
