  • Worth visiting this museum. It gives information about how the mummification was done in more than 4,000 years ago in Egypt. All about Ramses II, animals, etc. This is for those who has interest in history. Suggested to read history before visit. Luxor where this museum is located, it is beautiful city, river Nile flowing in the middle of the city, dividing into east and west. At That time East was considered life due to sun rises that's why residence was here. Similarly, since west was considered as sign of end of life due sun set.
  • This Museum its amazing and should be bigger. Mummification process deserve more space and visits. The work and the ceremony around a mummy was not only very interesting as medicine process also about religious faith. The Museum is on Nile Corniche, very easy and near to go from Luxor Temple.
  • Good museum but very small. It also has strange hours as I had to go three different times in the middle of the day to get in.
  • Nice museum but it is very small. Do not waste your money on a photo ticket.
  • A really good place to know more about the mummies and the tools that was used.
