  • Definitely not worth the long journey from Alexandria or Cairo. I think Egypt realizes it's one of their only historical sites tourists come to see so they recently redid it but the museum can be seen in under an hour if you read every little description (which is poorly translated from Arabic to English). It's a shame to see the coastline over developed and completely demolished too. Soon the cemeteries will be surrounded by Four Seasons and Hilton Hotels.
  • Good place for wwii history. But no german tank and no student ticket
  • Very moving. Great respect shown to all of the fallen. Our involvement was obviously appreciated by the Australian memorial.
  • Like it so much! Well kept and many nice infos!
