  • This mosque is founded by Governor Ahmed Ibn Tulun in the city of Cairo. It has 160 m X 160 m. Your minaret is special in Egypt. It's worth it.

  • one of the best monuments I visited. one of the oldest if not the oldest mosque in Cairo. love how spacious is. we went on Saturday morning and it was completely empty which is great. cause you can have full appreciation of the building. if you are in Cairo you should pay thjs place a visit
  • A very interesting place to visit especially knowing it is the oldest mosque in Egypt with no major change since it is built 1200 years ago.
  • You must climb up the minaret and see 360 view of cairo for yourself. Perfect for meditation. Recomended to go there alone
  • A mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. There are strict and detailed requirements in Sunni jurisprudence for a place of worship to be considered a mosque, with places that do not meet these requirements regarded as musallas.
  • One of my favourite mosque in Cairo. It's so old, large and unique. We can go up and see the city from the top. But, we should pay to go up and have limit time. Good moment to go is when the sunset will be happened. It's amazing scenery. From the top, we can see the roof of mosque and mosque of Muhammad Ali. Although it's little bit dangerous on the top but it's worth it. Just br careful! Unfortunately, the mosque can't use for pray.
