  • One of my favourite places in Cairo, such a hidden gem! It is an oasis of serenity in this megalopolis chaos! Apparently the guided visit is short, so DYI ! I love the architecture, the artifacts, the garden and the book/gifts shop. The " tales of the kritlia" book is great! The house had been associated to some interesting fairy tales:)
  • Very cool museum. Something off the trail of the ancient... and into the modern age of Egypt. Which is arguably more interesting.
  • By far the awesomest place I’ve been to in Cairo. There are in total 62 rooms and everything is gorgeous. rooms are themed from Persian, English, Turkish, Indian, Damascus, Chinese. The craftsmanship that goes into all the woodwork in this house is exceptional.
  • This is the best preserved old house in cairo with wide collection of furniture, art works and monuments, my two sons and me loved the place and highly recommend.
  • Great place to visit will take you back in history opens by 9.00 am you will pay for the entry ticket and your camera use
