Aswan Botanical Garden reviews
More of a walk around palm trees, many of which are overgrown. The trip by river is lovely, the landing stage delightful but the rest underwhelming. A shadow of its former self. There is clearly work.... more »
I was hoping to enjoy this place in peace but there are just way too many people when I visited. I can’t even find a nice place to sit down that’s not around bunch of people. I also find this... more »
Very nice place for those who are in love with nature. There are so many different types of flowers and trees. Some of them are unique. more »
Small oasis in the desert along the Nile. Trees imported from all over the world. It's a place to wonder and relax. Many people were having picnics on the grass. There is a mosque on the island as well as a cafeteria. Some trees were in bloom while we were there as seen in the photos. Lots of street vendors. You need to take a boat from town to get there.
It's an amazing place to visit with a lot of nice plants and trees that you don't usually see... I would recommend visiting time to be 2 hours before sunset as you can enjoy the lovely view of the sunset. You need to take a boat to the island and you can get some souvenirs from the local guys before leaving the island.
Beautiful gardens on Kitchener Island on the Nile River at Aswan. All plant and tree varieties are clearly marked. So it's easy to know what you are seeing. Cafe with nice outdoor seating.
Nice and fun little casual place. Not much stuff inside but the scenery is amazing. Can get some good shots and have a nice time in general. 20 Egyptian pound entrance seems less but is a lot for this place. Good testing place.
Botanists paradise. So many different species of plant life here. A small museum at the entrance of the island has a all the plants on display for identification purposes before you walk the garden.
