Los Gemelos, Santa Cruz

(4/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Following a short hike at Los Gemelos, you'll have the opportunity to gaze upon the beauty of two ancient lava craters. The trail, which also has a side path, continues for up to 723 m (2,372 ft). It takes you through lush green vegetation, which fills the craters today. Watch for an abundance of tortoises crawling in the craters. Because the path crosses a variety of terrain, be sure to wear good shoes. • Some bird watching and learn about the flora of the place must visit the twin craters of the Galapagos Islands, it is a beautiful place, where you can hear the sounds of nature without pollution. Nice panoramic view of afforestation.

  • Tour here have been passed within the framework of the El Chato! Nice photo point and somehow one of them! 2 twin crater! Real in order for 15 minutes!

  • They are two striking geological formations. It has no sense to visit them, but are passing between the airport and Puerto Ayora, a few metres from the route.

  • I came here by bike and I got to say I was wrecked. If you don't cycle regularly maybe get bus up here and cycle down. The trail is just off the road and fairly short. The views are pretty decent.
  • Fascinating area, great to spend a bit of time at, particular when it's foggy.
  • Must see Tortoises and lava tunnels. Have organic coffee at the snack center.
  • Very short walk to giant sink holes. Definitely worth stopping between the airport and Puerto Ayora for a 30 minute visit.
  • Crazy!
