Punta Carola, San Cristobal

(4.4/5 based on 45+ reviews on the web)
Visit Punta Carola to meet the sea lions that call this beach home. Other residents you can see up close include pelicans, seagulls, lizards, and turtles. Get in the water for some excellent snorkeling or swimming. There isn't much shade so make sure you bring a hat and sunscreen. Due to the lack of amenities in this secluded area, packing your own food and water is recommended. Add Punta Carola and other attractions to your Puerto Baquerizo Moreno trip itinerary using our Puerto Baquerizo Moreno vacation generator.

  • By proximity (to only ones minutes walking from the port), by its beauty to any hour of the day and much more to the put of the Sun, by the contact with them animals (many wolves marine in the beach, turtles marine very near the shore e iguanas in als rocks close to the lighthouse). You have to pay anything to enjoy perhaps the best experience I had in San Cristobal.

  • One more town beach, this gets a little more hidden. Accessible only by trail. Like all the others, is home to several sea lions, enjoying themselves swimming with you.

  • Carola is a beach relatively near the port. It comes after Beach Mann, then the interpretation centre and the next fork you out to punta carola. It is a very quiet beach to cool off and sit down and watch the seals of different ages. A free activity to not stop doing!. We loved it.
