Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web
Visit a stretch of coast well known for its resident sea lions at Las Loberias. On this sandy beach animals organize into colonies, with around 30 females and their cubs surrounding the dominant male of the group. Watch the way they interact and listen to the inimitable noises they make, making sure to stay back and heed the advice of the wardens--sea lions tend to be very territorial. Other than the main residents, you'll find yellow warbles, frigate birds, and plenty of species of finch, as well as large marine iguanas. • Very nice beach with plenty of sea lions, who keep a company like on the beach and in the water.

  • The best of the Galapagos Islands is the impression that the human being is a mere guest. Las loberias is amazing, nice beach where the sea lions are not even care to human presence.

  • As a matter of time, went to this place at night... a pleasant walk by the Carter admiring a sky cleared with millions of stars, many people on bicycles, in family and working out... on the beach, total peace in complete darkness in the light of the moon... an unusual experience.
