  • We visited Guamote a day Thursday, fair square is completely full of natives, not only square is full of indigenous people all the people, it is all hustle and bustle, the colors of their clothes are colorful, all men wear pocho most red, the women with their necklaces of coral and anacos. It is very nice to live, to feel our history.

  • A great experience to visit this market. You walk really between the local population with all related worries. You can buy beautiful hats for $ 18, Guinea pig-balls as a snack, pig heads and lots of other stuff.

  • The La Merced market is located in the heart of the beautiful city "Riobamba", that place is part of my childhood and youth, since my grandparents House is located within walking distance of the La Merced market... is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy a tasty hornadito. In addition there are several alternatives in dishes typical of the city...! Who passes by Riobamba, can not miss it...! ;)
