  • Very good care of everyone from the guard until that comes to the parking lot, we had a baby in car and we could not access some areas due to lack of facilities. The bubble room is great for kids from 3 years, the area of the sources is nothing extraordinary... There is an exhibition about the water on the planet and another of the ravines of Quito. Spectacular view of the city, but definitely is more for kids than adults

  • We really like the Yaku, not only we receive with kindness if not that is a place of very natural recreation within the city, a sort of "Oasis" in the chaos of concrete, several churches, convents, historical and administrative buildings are You can see from there, already that its location on the slopes of the pleasure of a traditional neighborhood of Quito and after adjustments of old facilities used in yesteryear for the purification of water for Quito, you can enjoy the landscape of the city where you you lose the view both South and North of the beautiful city. It has a parking lot for payment which is entered by the sector of San Roque, a lift allows to get from the parking lot to the entrance of the Museum, with facilities for people with mobility limited even with information for the blind and a lot interesting information about ecology, facts about water and the relationship with the man among other issues. Specially designed to teach the public about the value of water resources, in Yaku there are several rooms in the what is the visitors interact and discover a world we all take for granted. She has area of health services and food I can not say that these last two are first class and surely the Administration knows it, but at least has the service, and it is clean. A recommended place to spend a morning or an afternoon calm, learning and enjoying the freshness of the vital liquid. Yaku is possible to visit him in family activities are perfect for all ages, as a couple to enjoy the landscape and the feeling of isolation that is experienced, or only for the much-needed moments of introspection for personal growth.

  • Nice place for kids. Could use a bit more variety for temporary exhibits or displays but good overall.  more »

  • Good museum but is based more in history than in the water that is part of the museum's name. Yaku Water Museum. But it is a nice place anyhow
  • It was fun but not a historical as I expected. More local history than water history.
  • great museum and A spectacular View to Quito Downtown
  • interesting....
  • Modern and unforgettable place where u can get connected with the powerful energy of water and enjoy very interesting activities in many amazing areas with all the family.
