  • A place with many bars and pubs! A small fountain. Otherwise there's not very much. But ok.

  • Seems to be that the Plaza Foch is the epicenter of the life night in Quito. In their environment and surrounding streets, it is possible to find a very varied range of restaurants, pubs, clubs, hostels and hotels. During the late of week the concurrency is massive, by what some services, as ATMs automatic, could not operate. "The zone" seemed fairly safe, although it is better to not be neglected. The station of the Eco-via Manuela Canizares is to three blocks from the Plaza. If you like go for drinks in Quito, this is the place indicated.

  • Probably the centre of nightlife in Quito, a place to dance, drink or just hang around with friends, just be aware of bars that will trick you with "promotions" that turns out to be really expensive. Try to pay for each round at the time so you avoid unpleasant surprises at the end of the night.
  • You can say its a very safe place since there dozens of cops surrounding the bar and security guards outside the perimeter. "Tourist trap" very expensive restaurants. Very safe though.
  • Touristy, but there are some fun places here. This area is definitely aimed at the younger gringo crowd, but it is lively and fun. Lots of restaurants and bars ring this plaza. In the Mariscal area, this is where you'll find food and drink late at night. Note that it gets dark and empty just a few blocks out, so you'll generally want to take a cab if going more than a couple of blocks late at night.
  • Very safe, but expensive and touristy, great for when there are big games or events happening
  • It's a nice place you can find fast food, discos, and artesanal beer, but take care, like other similar places has delinquents, drug deleaders, it's a bit dangerous especially in nights.
