Take a relaxing hike through Pasochoa Forest Reserve, a protected cloud forest situated within an extinct volcanic crater. Five different trails of varying lengths and challenge levels ensure plenty of ways to access the biodiversity here, which includes 50 species of endemic Andean trees and wildlife such as foxes, deer, and mountain puma. Birdwatchers will find plenty to appreciate with over 100 avian species, many of them specific to Ecuadorian cloud forests. Bring a camera to capture the scenic backdrop of snowcapped mountains. Nice bed, medium effort, rises and then decrease, approximately 2hours, the road vehicle to reach the reserve very careless, can get a small vehicle but with care, narrow, bad pavement, mud especially before the refuge, avoid (personally) enter in winter. Climate warm, waterproof clothing, wrap excess, desirable to carry a doffing of clothes and shoes, not suitable for people with disabilities to walk, the elderly can expect to see in the building's entrance (sheltered), not is not allowed pets, bring food fast (snack), drinks hot, liquids in general, lightweight backpacks (1 drink, 1 waterproof, sandwich), the rest leave it in your vehicle , Advise them to start the tour early (approximate time between home in village of Amaguaña, arrival, walk, return to Amaguaña 4 to 5 hours). and between the 13 and 14 hours may have lunch in this area or go to the Valley of the snapper (restaurants, hornado, shopping centres, barbecues, cuy, ect)
