Take a relaxing hike through Pasochoa Forest Reserve, a protected cloud forest situated within an extinct volcanic crater. Five different trails of varying lengths and challenge levels ensure plenty of ways to access the biodiversity here, which includes 50 species of endemic Andean trees and wildlife such as foxes, deer, and mountain puma. Birdwatchers will find plenty to appreciate with over 100 avian species, many of them specific to Ecuadorian cloud forests. Bring a camera to capture the scenic backdrop of snowcapped mountains. Note that getting to the site is best in a four-wheel-drive vehicle.   • If you like camping is an ideal and safe place with facilities and activities. It is close to Quito so spend a weekend there is very easy. It has areas for camping, for pic nic and marked paths for hiking.

  • pasochoa Park is beautiful, quiet, safe, you can do short or long hikes depending on how much you like to walk, there are places for picnicking and camping. It is not recommended when it is too cold or rainy.

  • This reserve is located 2 hours aside East of Quito, is a place that has high humidity and very frequent rain, there is some trails for various activities of 1,2,3 or more hours on this occasion chose from 3 hours Palm path I take my time observing different types of vegetation in particular bamboo that covers most of the trail recommend carrying water and clothing for the changing climate can be during the day
