  • Probably the most impressive convent in town (although San Francisco is pretty nice as well). 44 very large paintings surround 3 sides of the garden/courtyard. And don't forget to go see the "chapel" ...  more »
  • A place that you should visit the wealth of colonial art of the Quito School. You can admire the works of Miguel de Santiago. The Chapter House, where it is signed the Act of independence is worth seeing. They have plant, an eminence Guide.

  • Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see most of the museum as it was damaged by the April earthquake and they are currently trying to fix it. It was decent nonetheless and the staff was extremely helpful....  more »
