  • The House of the Archbishopric is an excellent place nearly hidden in the middle of the historic centre. He is accessed from the main square and through a gallery you arrive to this playground of Spanish style which has many plants hanging from the balconies of its three levels and delights the eyes of visitors with its central stone fountain. Dinner there is a unique experience, with Golden lights that create a charming atmosphere. There are at least two restaurants of excellent quality and normal prices. Don't forget to take a good black beer.

  • Formally it was the House of Sucre. It acquired after the nuptials by power with a local noble. Curious that both Bolivar and Sucre eventually near Quito. But failed to spend or a year there. The best, the courtyard.
