  • Have spent two great days, a warm welcome, a guide great for birds he calls without iPod or phone. All also excellent cuisine, room a bit rustic, but no problem. Not seen bear with glasses but not always visible. To recommend

  • Visited the book Maquipucuna with my spouse and our child of 6 years, in what was a very good experience of mountain, have with the luck of to enter in a book quite well maintained in where is can see clearly a great commitment conservationist. The route of access is by the village of Nanegal using a road of third order, ballasted somewhat winding is recommended a vehicle high, although not necessarily 4 by 4 them telecommunications in the place are deficient, I recommend do all them questions on logistics before undertake the travel. for us the tour departing from North of Quito was approximately two hours with pauses on the way, we literally went for ride. Will try to return to meet us several days, know that there is much more by discover.

  • To who you want to see to them bears of glasses from very close, Maquipucuna is the place idea. It was an unforgettable experience to see them so closely, still bears that are already endangered we feel privileged observes the. When we were there also was a team of the BBC who only arrived in Ecuador to film the bears.
