Day or night, stroll at a leisurely pace along La Ronda to appreciate the charms of Quito's old town. Curving its way through the city's historical quarter, the charming cobbled street typifies the Spanish colonial style of architecture. Look up above you at the colorful flowerboxes adorning many of the street's balconies, and appreciate the recent work that has restored the area to its former glory. During the day you can buy handicrafts from quaint souvenir shops, while at night you can join in the party at one of the street's many bars. • Lovely traditional walk through what used to be a rough, red light area of the city. Now cleaned up, modernised and pleasant.
  • The round is a passage from 600 metres approximately by which you can travel back in time and enjoy the best cuisine of Quito with their culture and traditions. Recommended from Thursday to Saturday night

  • When we read the lonely planet our expectations were big. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of choice. There only were a few restaurants and bars.
