  • First clarify that I write this year and months later, opinion because I visited it in February 2016. I do why now? Because newly back from Singapore, where I visited its botanical heritage of humanity UNESCO and frankly I haven't left rather disappointed when comparing it with the Quito, but everywhere I mean. In both judge your sample of orchids in particular, since Asia is its stellar zone in fact is the only one in charge, and it has not seemed half of spectacular, amazing or wonderful it is that of Quito, whose exhibition of orchids is a marvel by the enormous variety, layout and number of species , types, colors, shapes etc. It is much more valuable and beautiful which are accomplished in the Botanical Garden of Quito, who surely have just a fraction of budget and space. OK the Asian is if more large and if get conventional beautiful gardens and orchids, but basically the same 25 varieties over and over again, well ordered and ready, aesthetically a success. In Quito the amazement is the quantity and variety! I ended up forgetting which had liked more, because just look the other way and see another more surprising, eye-catching, whimsical or dazzling, to then discover another even more incredible, so for half an hour... With regard to the rest of the garden is also highly recommended, the space isn't very big but with little they get much, Bravo Quito Ecuador simply amazing, bring us closer to the fascinating world of orchids teaching us as many as possible into the thousands and thousands!

  • Beautiful gardens. Nice representation of many different ecological regions. Fun sections of orchids and carnivorous plants.
  • Great gardens. With it's low admission price, this is definitely a "can't miss" for Quito. Enjoy the beautiful surrounding park as well
  • If you like plants, is a must visit place. They have many varieties of Highland and tropical flowers and plants. There's also a butterfly room, where you can walk alongside them.
  • I'm a bit of a botanical gardens snob and while this small gardens could clearly benefit from some more funding and a little elbow grease, it is rather pretty. I mainly enjoyed the construction of the greenhouses.
  • Beautiful place into the city. Great for quick visit all regions of Ecuador. Congratulations for great job!
