Must See
Los Tuneles is known for snorkelling opportunities, packed with so much sea life it’s been compared to snorkelling in an aquarium. Take an hour-long boat ride to the site, where along the way you’ll likely see giant manta ray, sea turtles, and sea lions, as well as views of the coast. Once you reach the popular spot, use your snorkelling gear to explore a maze of lava tubes and marine life. You’ll likely be able to get up close to many animals, such as colorful angelfish, white-tipped reef sharks, and even penguins. Several tour companies offer excursions; do your research to select the right one. • The excursion to the tunnels (formations of lava over the sea) is the magic of the landscape and animal ecology (reef type) that is generated in the. There are even seahorses and sharks.

  • There are no words to describe what happened in 5 hours. We've seen it all, within a natural environment, incredibly beautiful and unique. In addition to all the fish and birds mentioned in previous reviews we were able to see 5 or 6 huge manta rays and even an orca. The tour was operated by Rosedelco; both the captain (John Travolta) and the Guide were extremely flexible and have adapted the hike to requests of participants. For example, when they sighted the mantas in an area where it wasn't planned snorkeling, they stayed 20 minutes in that stretch of sea and have allowed those who wished to do snorkeling near the manta rays. They were subsequently informed by radio of the presence of an orca and dropped out on purpose until we spotted. Between one snorkeling and the other they improvised a quick fishing trip, either you did have time to throw your line in the water that fish of one or two kg to bite. They also didn't try my son of 9 years. Finally the Guide, in search of seahorses (that we saw) has found an Octopus and took it in her hand to show us up close and let us take photos. In the end we could copy for free all of the photos that the Guide did during the hike. Highly recommended!
