Get in touch with the local aquaculture population with a visit to the islet of Las Tintoreras. The turquoise waters of the bay are sheltered, providing a perfect spot for sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, stingrays, and reef sharks to hang around. At low tide, the bay is connected to a small shallow pool of clear water, where you can get an up-close look at the sharks. Survey the marine life from a lava deck above, or grab your snorkel and jump right in. To visit Las Tintoreras on your trip to Puerto Villamil, use our Puerto Villamil trip itinerary maker.

  • The Tour is very well. The issue is that after having done the tunnels is hard something to excite and surprise you again. This tour is more economical, slope or$ S40. It consists of three moments, hiking, snorkeling and observing birds and sharks that rest on a crack. The snorkeling was poor, we saw only fish. The sharks had 2 or 3 resting and are seen from above. If birds are seen. Very cute. If you can do both tours is worthwhile. But if you have to choose and can you stretch the budget... I'll take the tunnels.

  • Go slowly in a small boat to that small island located on the other side is. Met various creatures before you arrive! Excited again! First from the top of the boat out of Manta Rays and turtles. And encounter a swarm of Galapagos penguins and aoachicatsodri. On the little island of lava arrived, sea iguanas and sea lions. In snorkeling and then swam in the sea lions and sharks so close. This was the best tour.
