Categories: Wildlife Areas, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web
Get up close and personal with marine life when you snorkel at Concha de Perla. Cross over a wooden bridge through a mangrove forest, keeping an eye open for iguanas and other land animals as you approach the lagoon. A large rock formation in front of the lagoon keeps the waters here especially calm, making this area great for children and those new to snorkeling. The clear water makes it easy to see the marine life such as sea lions, sharks, many types of fish, turtles, and more. • Walking trails lead to one Bay, can be entered into the sea from there. Rays, turtles, sea lions, sea iguanas and snorkeling could. Able to see sea lions, iguanas, and penguins on the beach with Wharf. During their stay at Isabella far not get bored here. Thanks.

  • Shell de.perla is a beach which is in the port, but not sand. Accessed by a wooden footbridge until you reach the "beach" which is a large pool of sea water with currents for snorkeling. (Don't forget to wear your mask and snorkel). You can see a variety of fish, turtles. Super recommended. For the time of year that we went we were recommended to go at noon by the tide.

  • Concha de Perla is a lovely little spot close to town for a swim and a snorkel - it's not the best, you'll only see a few fish and possibly turtles, but with the proximity to town it's great if you just fancy a swim and a cool off. Of course, it also costs nothing, so that's good!!
  • Great to cool down on a hot day, nice walk through the trees to get there.
  • Fantastic
  • a little nice place for snorkeling not much more
  • Perfect for snorkeling, you must carry your own equipment because there where renting near the place. You arrive on foot, you can not enter in bicycle, you need water and sunscreen. Preferably in the morning, you can fish colors and penguins.
