  • travel is very nice to get to tupiza breeding Center, traversing lagoons with flamingos, with variety of vegetation, very marked, and care pathways in the place there are lot of turtles of different ages, and there is a sector where he explains graphically the work there is done.

  • If you spare yourself the time or you're bored, the visit is worth. But invest the time to other activities of Isabela like tunnels, volcano or blue sharks.

  • Centro de Crianza has a breeding program for turtles. Very educational and interesting. Here it becomes clear how important this centre is

  • I walked here from the main town. It's about a 40 minute walk through the boardwalk. The centre isn't too big and filled with baby and adult tortoises. I got to see 2 young tortoises fight which was very cute. It's free so good for a cheap morning or afternoon.
  • Liked the San Cristóbal Galapaguera better, but it was great to see the giant turtles again. The way to the place is incredible though, flamingos and lava lizards all the way through.
  • Lots of important work being done here. A bit sad to see some of the last tortoise of their kind in enclosures but hopefully this is only temporary until the populations can rebound.
  • In this place you can learn a lot about how human interaction is affecting the population of the different species of giant tortoises in the Galapagos Islands and what the National Park is doing to prevent the extinction of this amazing animals
  • Good place to spend a short amount of time, interesting and fun to watch how turtles grow.
