  • Although off the beaten track (an hour from Otavalo, but en route from there to the airport), this is quite an amazing but overlooked site with over a dozen pyramids. Most are still covered, but there...  more »
  • More than have an excellent view of the major volcanoes of the country from the viewpoint you have an incredible view of a beautifully starlit sky to ok adding the kindness of the people in charge that prepare you the spaces so that you can prepare a great barbecue, but clear you have to book in advance... • The place is close to Quito Center, impressive is the quality of the guides (Eliecer in our case) we learned a lot about the culture of the quitus-faces, thanks to our guide learnt about medicinal plants, food plants and wildlife of the area, all the flora and fauna is native to the place and is located in its natural habitat. In our case Eliecer showed us how the llamas and alpacas go after a whistle that he, really amazing. All this without forgetting the views of the place where you have a peripheral view of 280 degree everything is Quito, both appreciating the city as around 14 volcanoes and hills. This is a visit that should be performed, because almost no one knows the place guides are almost that custom. Only recommendation not to use costumes white or clear, there are a few insects like beetles that you stick to clothing.

  • Well worth a visit, not the easiest place to get to but the effort is worth it. Excellent guided tour, stupendous views.
  • Excellent camping and refocusing of guides in the ruins. Excellent the State of them facilities, the Sr Edwin and his team are prepared to treat to them visitors of the area of camping of way cordial and friendly, atrncion very family that you invites to visit them again. You have exceeded my expectations. With regard to them ruins the attention of Jenny this very good, but I seems that the information that lend should be focused in the life of them Quitucara instead of them archaeologists, me seems more interesting that theme
