  • In the ciudadesd and the Andes, it is common that the cities have nearby mountains, but the Rucu is majestic and its landscapes provide greater peace that can be found so close to a city. You get very easy after ascending in the Teferuqo very early, hopefully just opened to the public, because you must foresee that the walk is a 3.5 or 4 hours dedicated approach to the top, if you want to reach the top, you must turn to the mountain after crossing the antennas, but already begins to be a little bit risky because there are some climbing steps and the degree of inclination of the road sometimes is superior to the 45 degrees, all srobre in the end, when you climb on unstable sand. weather hits hard with the cold and the wind, however is the best walk that you can experience in Quito. You can find Eagles, and rabbits. You should not pay for this SPECTACULAR PLAN.

  • If the weather's nice, the ascent of Pichincha is a memorable experience. Once left behind the upper base of the cable car, starts an ascent surrounded by loneliness, mystical and great beauty. The city of Quito, in the background, is the protagonist, as also the mountain chains that surround it; but the Moors, slow steps and the view at the front of the top of the Pichincha are unforgettable and stimulate the ascension. Highly recommended, provided the physical form and climatology accompany.

  • Hard physical work but that it is worth at the end of the tour. Imposing it stands behind their skirts the powerful Rucu and Guagua Pichincha volcano icons of the capital city of the Ecuadorians, in its more than 4000 msnm you can find much flora and fauna and more than that with every metre that advances towards the Summit can be a better vantage point of the city of Quito, its valleys, and its snowcapped mountains and surrounding hills. And the follow up you will find pure and fresh water sources that supply the "face of God" springs flowing cold wastelands that are found on the slopes of the Colossus and that you can visit to follow up where you'll find grasslands, polylepis and chuquiraguas, some animals and finally when you pass the 4000 meters you will find the cable car and on his back using a guide can be carried to the Summit itself of the Pichincha volcano
