Peguche Waterfall, Peguche
Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
Stand under the rushing wall of water at Peguche Waterfall to admire the sheer power of a natural phenomenon. Originating in the foothills of the Imbabura volcano, the water travels for miles before splashing down the front of the cliff and dropping 18 m (50 ft) into the splash pool, said to possess purifying powers. The rocks at the edge of the water provide plenty of photo opportunities, so don't forget to charge your camera.
