  • It is the traditional place of Otavalo. It is a small square where the otavaleños are located with their beautiful characteristic costumes sell crafts in the area that they have made, or bought other families of Otavalo and sell them there. It is good to talk with people, indigenous otavaleños, to learn more. He works every day, but many more come on Saturday and the day Wednesday.

  • Plaza de ponchos has a better variety of products the weekend, especially on Sunday, where producers and artisans show their goods and sell them to the public directly. We arrived on Sunday with my family and we could buy some blankets, hammocks and woven and embroidered garments. The prices are very affordable both for national and foreign tourists. Is can ask rebate by the products and negotiate without is angry the sellers.
