  • Angel Paz and his family have a wonderful place here for birding. It was easy to see Cock of the Rock and several Antpittas, Parrots & Hummingbirds!
  • We went to this reserve from Mindo. We are not some crazy of birds so I guess that not we appreciate so much as others see some that do not exist in any other place, but still, we liked the experience. We saw the (several) cock for quite a while and few other I do not know. Angel and his brother know the birds that we were taught, they know their customs and how to attract them through food or imitating their chants. Recommendation: long sleeves and long pants because, especially at dawn, there are many mosquitoes.
