  • Pretty interesting tower with the clock on the building at Guajâkile was built in the middle of 19 century. Repaired mechanism in 20 century.

  • The tower was built in the year 1931 and is work of the engineer Francisco Ramon and the architect Joaquín Pérez Nin and Landin. It is made of reinforced concrete and is 50 meters high. The clock was brought from Europe by the Governor of Guayaquil from those times, Mr Vicente Rocafuerte. You can access for free from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 17 hours.
