  • Although I wasn't that impressed by the contemporary art, the anthropology section is excellent, showing unique pottery and items from the many civilizations of the country. 
  • If we go to the Barrio Las Peñas, this Museum will be one of the last points of the Malecón 2000. It can be reached Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 16:30 and Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 17 hours. Currently there are only three rooms to the public, two devoted to anthropology and another room with an exhibition by the artist Ginés Contreras called "from social realism to the futuristic realism".
