Cerro Blanco has 4 trails of different distances and difficulties. Great site for birds and insects. If you are lucky you can see any mammal. In winter the trails are very muddy and slippery. It is essential to take repellent for mosquitoes.

Where to stay in Guayaquil

Guayaquil's sprawling layout means its center isn't strictly defined, with accommodations spread throughout several neighborhoods. To enjoy the most iconic Guayaquil setting, stay in the riverside neighborhood of Las Penas. For easy access to public parks and some of the best attractions in Guayaquil, stay in the bustling district of La Bahia. If you want a more suburban experience, look farther north to the neighborhood of Simon Bolivar.
