  • I have spent years wanting to go to a walk in Cerro Blanco. Finally I could make it. Upon arrival we received a guard, who also is the 'Cashier'. We paid $21 to enter. We were 3 adults and 3 children. But if we wanted guide were $12 more. But we were told that there was a "self-guided" path that did not need to guide and that lasted 30 to 40 min. Not got a receipt for the payment. Arriving at the starting point us received a guide that explained the way that we had take and actually not needed Guide for this journey. Regarding the tour, it was not even designated. And the worst thing was that near the end of the tour, a very young guide us rebuked for being without a guide, that we should not have, this time the leave be... I've been in the Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Mandango, the boxes, in the shelter of the Altar, in the Sierra Negra (Isabela island), Machu Picchu, Huayna Picchu hiking that really left me breathless by the beauty of its landscapes, and many of those not cost what we pay here, or the relation price/walk was good. Finally... too expensive for that leave you do, bad service, they do not give receipt for payment, the self guided walk is extremely easy... TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT... Not I say that not going, on the contrary, go, experience, perhaps while more go, things will improve. The ceibos for many years are the only thing that I ride.
