Laguna Grande, Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve
(4.9/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
At the heart of a wildlife reserve lies Laguna Grande, a tranquil lagoon known for its multicolored sunsets and pristine swimming spots. The water level in the lagoon fluctuates greatly during the seasons, at times so much so that the lake dries up and sprouts grasses and trees. In wet season, rare pink dolphins and and fish call the lake home. Move swiftly across the lake's mirrored surface in a canoe, and spot the wildlife on land and the many bird species above. • At the Siona lodge gives to this beautiful Lake. At this more we have dolphins, caimans, birds, monkeys, snakes and spiders seen! Every night the chance to enjoy a dive in the water. Provided that there is water. Starting from mid-december it flows more empty due to dry season. Then it's still cool to see, only the more than dry.
