  • I was mainly interested by the cito archaeological, but I was surprised of the good that is the Park, very nice and well-kept, with explanations of types of plants and their various uses, ponds, trails for walking, banks where to rest. Excellent place, not to be missed if you are visiting Cuenca and parks like

  • You can see all that you need to from the side of the road and the sidewalk below. If you want more archaeologic materials go to the ruins near the museum of the bank of Ecuador.
  • Very nice Museum on the ground floor exhibition of modern art. Then on the first floor is the major part of the exhibition. One covers the entire Ecuadorian culture through various habitats very well reconstructed allowing for this project in the past. The sea with farmers in coastal areas through the Andean sierra, the afroequatoriens and the Amazon rainforest. Reduced by the Shuar heads are very revealing of their culture of war. Also, take time to see the archaeological ruins and the park where you can see a multitude of medicinal plants and crops as quinoa red and white .and some explanation given by a few signs on the trees. We were lucky enough to have had a gardener who accompanied us at length to make us taste aromatic and medicinal plants.. .really Park and very nice don't miss a few hours...
