  • It is the central place of basin, where it converges throughout the city. It is very beautiful, with large trees and very well maintained. You can go and sit and watch quietly the most typical basin. It is to enjoy.

  • The Centre of Cuenca, a very well-kept square, with leafy trees and benches that invite you to take a few minutes to observe the life of the Indians.

  • Everything comes out of the square. There are two cathedrals (new and old) and its about there are some restaurants. The weekends on one side there are craft fair. The square is quite clean and orderly.

  • A quaint and regal park. Well kept and groomed in line with the jewel it is. Some fabulous landscaping explanation too; The chap in the middle was a big deal (hense statue). He had 8 children. Each of which is also honoured with a big tree next to him. Like. Oh, and there's free WiFi.
  • Audience directed to Pokémon TRAINERS foreign and locals alike. First and foremost, FREE (decent) WiFi. A superb place to catch Pokémon; there are three bunched up pokestops plus a gym all in the one square city block known as Abdon Calderon Park.
  • Awesome place for an awesome city! It is quite rare to find a place so deep with tradition and cosmopolitan at the same time.
  • nicest area in cuenca, very safe, loads of tourist, more hotels and restaurants than you can count, a bit pricey but a must-see area. best restaurant in cuenca is "la viña"- 4 blocks down louis cordero at the corner of cordero and juan jaramillo. owner is from milan, italy and serves AUTHENIC italian dishes and pizza. service/quality of food= GREAT!! open evenings, closed sundays. my family & i eat there several times a month.
  • Gorgeous - full of great people watching and activities!
