  • Museum of skeletons is an interesting city icon since while it is worthwhile at any moment change the heading to colonial and old, in the you can see multiple animals or rather skeletons for those who like to know something more and above all animals in the region, considered highly recommended.!

  • Address: Bolívar 657 and Borrero opposite the Church of San Alfonso El Museum of skeletons "Dr. Gabriel Moscoso E.", is a private initiative aimed at the conservation of nature through scientific research and environmental education. Created on the basis of the collection compiled by over forty years by Dr. Gabriel Espinosa Moscoso. The philosophy of the Museum is based on the premise that no one appreciates what do not know and that science should bring to the public through exhibitions that are entertaining more than informative. And that does not only imply a transfer of information ecological or conservation but allows reflection of the visitor, after which it can be assigned a personal value to natural resources, creating a multiplier effect in society. As part of its mission the Museum aims to become a scientific research centre to the South of the country, for which from the year 2004 its mission is the protection of biological diversity and Cultural of the Ecuador through scientific research and dissemination of scientific knowledge and cultural diversity associated and the use of art as a means of achieving its objectives.
