  • This is definitely a wonderful place, Jose and his family produce fabrics using traditional methods, thus rescuing a legacy inherited from past generations. They perform above all colourful makanas (term quichua) or shawls, made with a technique known as Ikat. This technique allows to make showy and colorful designs. One interesting part is you get the colors of items daily such as leaves, flowers, fruits, insects, rocks and more. The fabric made with a loom very, tissue requires patience and skill, but the end result is definitely spectacular. They have a small shop in which find can be a wide variety of fabrics to buy them aid for this legacy to not die and can be appreciated and valued by future generations.
