Casa Del Arbol, Banos
(4.4/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web)
Swing out over a deep valley when you visit Casa Del Arbol. The tree house stands on the side of a mountain overlooking nearby peaks and the valley below. Visitors can ride the swing, which hangs off the tree house and swings over the valley. A fastener keeps you safe when riding, so even children can ride safely. The area makes for great pictures, the best of which can be taken when the sun is high. Add Casa Del Arbol and other attractions to your Banos trip itinerary using our Banos family vacation planner.

  • The views of the mountains are gorgeous. We wouldn't see the volcano because was cloudy. We enjoyed the hikes and the CAFE in the mountain.
  • The Treehouse serves as a lookout in Baños, with a view especially to the Tungurahua volcano. There are 03 bus schedules or a trail that leads to the location. Pay a small entrance fee and there is a house built in the tree with the famous swing. A simple interpretation centre on the volcano with owner's staff and, with luck, the volcano not overcast by the clouds.

  • A very picturesque place, nice lucky with the weather, it was clear (most commonly mountains tightens mist that does not allow you to fully enjoy the views). Were able to take pictures and of course to swing on the swing breath.

  • Awesome idea to get a great view of the valley. The bus to bring you there costs only 1$ and the entrance costs 1$ as well. You can hop on the swing and get amazing picture taken or go on a bit smaller one just to enjoy the view. It is something you can't miss when you go to Baños!
  • You probably see a million photos of people on the swing before you head here. I hiked up and the weather turned so I got rather soaked unfortunately. You can also get a local bus from town and or get 1 of the tourist buses up. It's $1 to get in. It's not that big a place. There are a few lookout towers, mini ziplines and of course a few swings. It looks more dangerous it is. Unfortunately it was totally cloudy so I didn't get any views of the valley but I believe the views are very nice if you are lucky.
  • Great views, everything seems safe enough and it is outstandingly fun. If you go early in the morning you'll miss the lines. Prices are super low. It's indeed a great place to visit and enjoy.
  • An amazing place to visit when you go to Baños de agua santa. In this place you can take an amazing picture in the end of the world.
  • A must see in Banos. 45 minute bus ride for 1 dollar. Well worth it!
