  • Amazing museum with vital history and artifacts. Had the opportunity to see it during the "Nights at the Museum" and we are already planning to visit it again.
  • Visited 17.11.2016 in the framework of excursions in Santo Domingo, in the colonial part of it. An interesting Museum. Here and the history of the discovery of America, and the story of Columbus. Apartments Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon, where I understand they are not visited, impress their small dimensions. But the Palace is also not a huge total. On the other hand 500 inquiries years ago differed from the Royal persons 250-300 years ago))) architecture and others, in the heat of the +30 in the Palace quite tolerable, and in some areas even cool. Exhibits too interesting. It's clear that many of them, or by age, but from other places, or later, or not at all replicas. 500 years have passed in any way, it is not surprising. Visited with guided tours, interesting.

  • It surprised me positively. Very organized. It has, like other Santo Domingo museums, a few digital audio devices suitable to avoid the "guides" that want you to charge for any speech and travel to the race. Has a pavilion of weapons really impressive.

  • The place is huge, so go comfortable, there is much to see, since you go and until the end, the gardens and terraces are beautiful.
