My son was running with his cousins while we waited for the rest of the family and it felt safe. They keep it pretty clean. The statue by the main entrance was covered. It seems it was under repair... more »

This vrey small park is a hang out for Drug dealer and pot heads. There no place to sit peacefully without being in the middle of that. I visited on a Sunday and never got out the car.

This park is situated in the heart of Santiago and sits next to the cathedral, and in front of the Governance building. It has a Central kiosk, lots of trees, although the mayor had a lot of centenarial trees cut down a year ago and replaced it with plan trees to his shame. But there are pleasant walkways and places to sit all around the Parque and you will find people their throughout the day.
